An SUV crashed into a tree on Fairview Parkway on Tuesday.

Deputies said they responded to a two-vehicle crash around 3:20 p.m.

During the investigation, deputies learned that an SUV lost control and hit a tree. A second car wasn’t able to stop in time and rear-ended the SUV.

The driver of the SUV had serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital, according to deputies.

The other driver had minor injuries and was treated on the scene.

Southbound lanes of Fairview Parkway were blocked between I-84 and Northeast Halsey Street for about an hour.
