A Washington man accused of shooting and killing his neighbor while he was playing basketball with his son has been convicted of murder.

A Lewis County jury found Randolph Thomas Graham guilty Wednesday.

The crime occurred at a home in Winlock in May.

Investigators say Graham drove to his neighbor’s house on Meier Road and shot the 44-year-old man multiple times in front of his son.

The victim’s son ran to get help, but when authorities arrived, they said his father was dead.

Deputies arrested Graham at his home after a standoff that lasted several hours.

Winlock is located about 67 miles north of Vancouver.

Graham is due back in court for sentencing next Tuesday.
