Police are investigating a shooting that happened in northeast Portland Wednesday night.

Officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the 7000 block of Northeast Emerson Street at 9:22 p.m.

When officers arrived to the scene, they searched the area and found evidence of gunfire in the 5300 block of Northeast 72nd Avenue.

Police said officers also found two parked and unoccupied vehicles that were struck by gunfire.

No victims were located at the scene or arrived at area hospitals. No suspects have been located in connection with this shooting.

The Gang Enforcement Team is leading the investigation.
