A 42-year-old man was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Oregon State Police say he made threats to the Oregon Lottery Headquarters Office.
OSP said the lottery office in Salem received an email at 9:01 a.m. that contained an imminent threat to shoot and kill people at the office.
Detectives with the OSP Gaming Enforcement and Major Crimes began investigating the threat.
Jason David Ouellette, of Lebanon, was arrested by detectives around 2:30 p.m. He was booked into the Marion County Jail and facing a charge of menacing.
Ouellette was released at 7:35 p.m. due to jail overpopulation.
