Summer is in full swing and swimmers are ready to dive into an annual tradition happening this weekend Portland.

The Big Float is back Saturday, with more than 3,000 floatation devices expected to float along the Willamette River.

The event encourages people to hop into the river and is a fundraiser that benefits the Human Access Project.

The Big Float is a way to enjoy the river and inspire positive aspirations for the river's development, protection and improvement, according to the Human Access Project.
