A 25-year-old woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday night after she was struck by a vehicle on Pacific Highway, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the crash, located in the 17000 block of Pacific Highway, at 10:10 p.m.
When deputies arrived to the scene, they found an injured woman with critical, life-threatening injuries. The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The sheriff's office said investigators believe the woman was crossing Pacific Highway when she was struck by a gray Ford Explorer traveling southbound.
